While gazing at Unity Temple from across the street, probably resting on the low wall lining the sidewalk, behind is one of the finest church buildings in Oak Park. Check out this serene building, then head across the street to look at the details on the exterior of the extraordinary Oak Park Post Office building. Its worth the effort to remove your blades and wander inside, where there is a series of WPA murals, and a wonderful open space.
