Oak Park based Sarah's Inn helps domestic violence survivors create new lives free from abuse. To this end their mission is to lessen the effects and work toward the elimination of the causes of domestic violence. Accordingly, the agency's service strategy is twofold:
  • To provide services to women and children that help them in their time of crisis and put them on the path to self-sufficiency; and
  • To simultaneously address the systemic issues within our society which perpetuate the cycle of violence.
