What It Is

The OPRF-L@uic.edu email bulletin board is he oldest Oak Park and River Forest listserve, established by George Yanos and hosted by the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Subscribers post messages which every member of the ListServe receives! This makes it a wonderful forum for finding help, informing others of current activities, and for discussions of topics of current interest.


How To Use It

Everything you send to the list gets duplicated and sent to all the subscribers. Only send notes to the list that you want everyone to see.
 To post a message:
Send an email to OPRF-L@uic.edu with your message.

All "administrative" email should be sent to listserv@uic.edu
 To subscribe to OPRF-L@uic.edu:
Send an email to listserv@uic.edu with the message text
subscribe  OPRF-L  JohnDoe@anywhere.whatsup
(where "JohnDoe@anywhere.whatsup" should be replaced with your email account name!)
 To unsubscribe to OPRF-L@uic.edu:
